Ne'imah's 20th Annual Concert

First Albany Jewish Choral Festival

Havah Nashirah!-Let's sing!

Ne'imah will celebrate its 20th anniversary together with other choral groups from the Capital Region. Ne'imah has invited all the Jewish choral groups from the Capital District and around to singing with Ne'imah at the festival. Ne'imah will organize, host and sponsor the festival scheduled to take place on June 17, 2012 at the Picotte Recital Hall at the Massry Center for he Arts, College of Saint Rose College, 432 Western Avenue, Albany, New York 12203.

The groups participating in the festival are:

Berith Shalom Congregation of Troy,

Beth Emeth Congregation of Albany,

Nassau Synagogue

Congregation Beth Shalom of Clifton Park

Ne'imah Jewish Community Chorus

Each groups will bring to the festival a program of Jewish songs unique to their group. Ne'imah's program will include original Jewish choral music written by American Jewish and non-Jewish composers, Israeli composers, and choral arrangements of existing Jewish folk and liturgical music sung in Hebrew, Yiddish and English. For the festival's finale all the groups will sing together in a joint performance.
